Choose the right release
Start at the PhotoCraft release page in the upstream repository. Read that release's notes, then choose the file for your operating system and CPU architecture. File names, package types and available builds can change.
This independent website links to upstream downloads. We do not repackage or distribute a custom desktop edition.
Install on macOS
Choose the macOS asset
Check whether the release offers a universal package or separate Apple Silicon and Intel builds. Match it to your Mac.
Open the package
Follow the instructions included with the upstream release. Keep macOS security protections enabled; if the app is blocked, verify the source and consult the release documentation.
Try a copy of a file
Launch PhotoCraft, open a sample image, then save and reopen an exported result before using important projects.
Install on Windows
Check your system type under Windows settings, then choose the corresponding upstream x64, ARM64 or other available build. Follow its installer instructions, or extract a portable package to a folder you can write to. Avoid mixing files from different releases.
Run on Linux
Choose the package that matches your distribution and architecture. Follow the release's instructions for an AppImage, distribution package or archive when provided. Graphics-driver requirements vary; review the upstream troubleshooting information if startup fails.
Build from source
Read the repository's setup instructions and toolchain requirements before building. The project is written in Rust, and native and browser builds use different targets.
